Tinting-out 'Ghost Staining'Graffiti ghost-stain removal (15th August 2003) Although this gallery was not submitted by a customer, it illustrates one of the many uses for Dyebrick. In this case, the original graffiti was removed as much as possible by cleaning, but a ghost-stain still remained. This was successfully tinted out using Dyebrick. For this job, Old English Red was used for the bricks and a combination of Charcoal and Lightener were used for the mortar joints. Dyebrick was ideal for this job because a sealer/anti graffiti product was applied afterwards. Dyebrick is compatible with most general-purpose waterproofers and sealers as Dyebrick does not alter the original properties of the brick.
